Presented in collaboration with AMD Xilinx KriaTM SOM partners Framos and Sensor to Image (S2I), this webinar will focus on the advantages of Kria SOMs in interfacing with high-resolution, high-frame rate image sensors that requires significant bandwidth in applications such as factory automation cameras. During this webinar, we will discuss how a 10GigE Vision Camera Accelerated Application can be easily deployed on Kria KR260 Robotics Starter Kit. The accelerated application is built using SLVS-EC IP Core from Framos and GigE Vision IP Core from S2I leveraging the capabilities of the Kria K26 SOM hardware taking input from an IMX547 SLVS-EC based global shutter camera sensor at 122fps.
Extending this application for acceleration of computer vision functions using adaptable hardware is a value proposition that remains uniquely AMD-Xilinx. While many applications today leverage deep-learning techniques such as segmentation, classification and detection, there is still a very important place for classical vision algorithms.
